This procedure is most often required by weight loss medication patients who have lost between 30 to 75 lbs. The surgery removes excess skin and tissue from the front of the abdomen of the patient. Because this procedure is less complex than other panniculectomy and surgery times are shorter the post-surgery patient may not require an overnight stay in the hospital.
