FACILITIES
Barix+Plus is a bariatric body contouring surgical program located at Forest Health Medical Center (FHMC), a full-service, fully credentialed hospital focused exclusively on the treatment of obesity, bariatric patients, and patients with dramatic weight loss. FHMC was completely remodeled to meet every requirement of the obese and dramatic weight loss patient.
- Because FHMC is a full-service hospital, every Barix+Plus body contouring patient has all their surgical needs available in one location.
- Body contouring surgery is unique to each patient’s weight loss and how their body has lost weight. For example, many patients have surgeries addressing excess skin in their upper legs, upper arms, and abdomen.
- At our specialty hospital, you can have multiple surgeries at one time, addressing the various areas you need.
BARIX+PLUS AT FOREST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Barix+Plus AT FOREST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER:
- Focused on the specific medical needs of bariatric and weight loss patients at all stages of weight loss.
- Located at Forest Health Medical Center (FHMC), a fully credentialed hospital.
- Surgeries are performed in completely equipped hospital operating rooms, allowing our surgeons to perform multiple advanced body contouring procedures in a single operation.
- Includes support for recovery post-surgery, including private rooms for patients requiring an overnight stay or additional care post-surgery.
- When you have your surgery at a hospital you have the confidence of safety and quality that may not be available in a doctor’s clinic/office because they don’t have the same accreditation and licensure requirements that a hospital has.
