REVISION PROCEDURES

Some patients have previously had procedures such as a minor tummy tuck performed by a cosmetic surgeon in their office clinic/surgery suite, but patients who have experienced dramatic weight loss really require a medium or major panniculectomy. In these cases, they often find the outcome from a tummy tuck does not fulfill their requirements and they are disappointed in their results. When this happens a revision surgery is required.

• Revision procedures: surgical procedures for patients with dramatic weight loss who had previous reconstructive and/or cosmetic plastic surgeries with unsatisfactory results.

• Another revision surgery may be where a patient has an unsightly scar from a previous surgery such as a panniculectomy that can be redone to provide a much better cosmetic appearance.
